Blade adjustment (blade offset) is not frequently included in the firmware of cutters. This means that the corners will be cut across and/or rounded off when cutting small text, for example, producing very subpar results. The target vinyl cutter or plotter is physically tested using the blade offset calibration tool included with the vinyl spooler to determine which offset amount (value) is best suited for that cutter or plotter.
